March Youth News

Greetings! 

The youth groups had a great time in February! During the first weekend in February, eight middle school youth and two high school youth went to Wisconsin Dells to participate in the Youth Encounter Quake. It was a great experience. We were able to listen to a wonderful speaker by the name of Josh Brecht who inspired all of us. The event also had some great bands and we quickly became fans of the Christian Alternative band known as HELLOFOREVER. The theme for the weekend was from Micah 6:8 which states that we should Do Justly, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly with God.

           The end of the month will bring all of the youth together again. An all youth roller skating event at Rollaero is occurring on Sunday, February 21^st from 1-3. The cost is $6 which includes the skate rental. Please come and join us and we do some rocking and rolling!

           The youth groups are also selling Kringles during the month of March. The cost of a Kringle is $8. They will be available for pickup on Sunday, March 28^th from 8-11. The proceeds from this event will go to the next National Youth Gathering.
