Pastor Bill Mains
Pastor Bill grew up in
the Chicago area, as did his wife, Barb. They both attended Walther
Lutheran High School. While Barb went to Concordia Teachers College
in River Forest, IL, for her Bachelors in Education, Pastor Bill
went to the American Conservatory of Music for a Music Education
degree, then back to Concordia for the Colloquy and the Master of
Arts in Education degrees. From there, he went to Luther Theological
Seminary for his pastoral Master of Divinity degree.
This is Pastor Bill's 35th year in ministry. The first 9 were in the
specialized lay ministries of youth, music and education. The past
26 have been in ordained pastoral ministry, serving congregations in
Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He has been Senior Pastor at
Trinity since April of 1997.
Pastor Bill and Barb adopted their 12th child in August 2008. They
currently have seven grandchildren. They have also been foster
parents, having cared for over 20 children in the last several
years.

Office
Manager/Christian Education Coordinator - Sharon Piastowski
Sharon grew up in
Tigerton, WI and attended UW-Stevens Point. She worked for
the former Marine Bank for a few years and then was a stay at
home Mom for quite some time. She joined Trinity in 1976.
Sharon taught Sunday School and was Sunday School
co-superintendent before becoming the Education Coordinator in
1995. In 1996, that position was combined with the Office
Manager/Secretary position. She also was a Catechism small group
leader. She currently sings in the Senior Choir, plays
Handbells and fills in on keyboard when needed.
Sharon has been
married to Jeffrey since 1974 and they have 3 children:
Tyler; Michael, who is married to Tara Schmitz; and Angie, who
is married to Chad Schaefer.

Music
Director - Jana Larson
Jana left her
east coast roots and came to the Midwest where she graduated from
St. Olaf College in 2008. She has spent her whole life
involved in Lutheran church music and St. Olaf furthered that
passion in her. She is following in her parents' footsteps as
the Director of Music here at Trinity. She is also currently
working as a bank teller. She enjoys spending time with her
dog Luther and is looking forward to seeing where life takes her. |

Organist - Tom Reifenberg
Tom was raised
in Cudahy, and graduated with a degree in Instrumental
Music Education from UW-Whitewater in 2001. He began his teaching
career
in fall of 2001 as Director of Bands at Greendale High School, where
he
directs the marching band, wind symphony, symphonic band, two full
jazz
ensembles, pep band, and pit orchestra. He also is the varsity
softball
coach at GHS. During the summer months, Tom works as music director
for
the Greendale Community Theatre, which he co-founded in the summer
of
2003. He began working at Trinity as a substitute organist in the
summer
of 2005, assuming the regular position in August of 2005. |
