Have you heard the news? Our last World Hunger effort, Gifts That Grow, raised $1823.36 for world hunger over the last 12 months!! That’s wonderful!

In the last three years, we have raised almost $8000 towards a safe water supply for a third world community, providing farm animals to raise the standard of living for many, and for food assistance in drought-ravaged areas of our country and the world.

This year’s newest effort toward World Hunger is FISH FARM.

Giving your neighbors a fish means they will eat for a day…but this gift helps your neighbors start a community fish- farming project that offers long-lasting solutions to hunger. A gift to support ELCA World Hunger helps provide real solutions to families living in poverty, which in turn gives them food, funds and fertilizer – all for a better future.

Look for the fish tank out in the entry every week. Please place your cash contributions in the tank, or you can write a check and use your blue envelopes. Either way, the funds will be put towards the fight against World Hunger through GIFTS THAT GROW.
