GIFTS THAT GROW

Have you heard the news? Our last World Hunger effort, God’s Global Barnyard, raised $2,355.57 for world hunger over the last 12 months!! That’s wonderful!

In the last three years, we have raised about $6,000 towards a safe water supply for a third world community, providing farm animals to raise the standard of living for many, and for food assistance in drought-ravaged areas of our country and the world.

This year’s newest effort toward World Hunger is GIFTS THAT GROW. Our goal this year will be to raise funds toward agricultural support. We’re hoping to purchase fruit trees for orchards, provide agricultural training, seeds and seedlings to start vegetable gardens in communities all over the world.

Once again, the water jug will be out in the entry every week. Please place your cash contributions in the jug, or you can write a check and use your blue envelopes. Either way, the funds will be put towards the fight against World Hunger through GIFTS THAT GROW.
